Here's a video of Sassy in the baby pool we bought her. She goes crazy when she gets out! Eloise isn't a big fan of the pool - she's so above that! Sassy is getting so big!

Welcome Baby Walker!

Hi all! We're so excited today! We finally saw a picture of the newest addition to the Dean family! Baby Walker is ADORABLE! Eloise can't stop smiling, and Sassy is smiling in her own little way. Mom and Dad's friends in Louisiana had their first baby over the weekend. Congrats ya'll! See how happy we are???? (our eyes look a little funny - that flash was WAY bright!).

Caught Up!

Ok, so in the last 2 posts, we tried to get you up to speed with what's going on with us. These are recent pictures of us. We're buddies now. Sassy likes to harrass me a little more than I would like, but Mom and Dad make her leave me alone when she gets out of hand. Mom left Sassy alone for ONE SECOND, and you see what happened! We're really going to have to watch her!

Road Trip!!!

I got to go to the beach over Memorial Day. I made lots of new friends at the beach, but I missed Eloise. I made dog friends, big and small, and people friends. I didn't even know that I liked water, but I thought it was fun jumping over the waves. Mom didn't get any pictures of me in the water. I hope I can go back one day so that I can actually get pictures of me in the water to share with you!

So, Mom and I hopped in the car and drove to St. Simons, GA. It's my favorite beach town! Mom's friends from high school, Kate and Cori (twins!), met us there. Kate's dog Lou came. He's crazy! He chases tennis balls! I'm going to do that one day. I was pooped from the swim, so I had to take a nap while they played. Here are my favorite pictures from the trip.

Hello Internet!

Hi! I'm Eloise. I'm a Lhasa Apso. I'm originally from Louisiana (Geaux Tigers!), but my mom moved to Alabama to go to school, and she had to bring me (of course!). She married my dad a few months ago, so my last name changed, but that's cool! I love my dad. I'm so happy that he's here! My favorite things (besides my mom and dad!) are naps, sleeping late, treats, vanilla bones, and kisses. My mom and dad are the best. They even fenced in the backyard for me! I was so excited! No leashes. My life was perfect!

Until 3 weeks ago. What happened you ask? Sassy happened.

I used to be able to eat when I wanted, sleep when I wanted, play when I wanted, give kisses when I wanted, get petted when I wanted, anything. Those were the days. Then mom came home with Sassy. She's loud, and she doesn't like to sleep. She's a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. I don't know what that means, but I'm pretty sure I don't like it. She interferes with everything I like.

I just ignored it for a little while, but mom said I had to get used to her because she was going to be around for a while. So, I'm making the best of it. Occasionally, I play tug of war with her which is pretty fun I guess. I still keep wondering when she's going to leave. For good.
